Mountain Retreat

For this project, a four-season residence for a young family, we turned to the surrounding landscape with views of Attitash and Stanton as inspiration for our schemes. A ground-up build which took two years to complete, we were brought in early in the process to design the entire house — living and family rooms, dining areas, kitchen, bar, media room, bedrooms, and baths. Every choice was about harmonizing the interiors with the rugged New England landscape outside and making it feel as if the mountains, trees and sky flow through the windows and into everyday life.
